Clinical research patients and professionals deserve better. The conventional clinical research model is inefficient and unsustainable, and it has failed to provide the superior experience that today’s patients now expect. We’re not satisfied with the status quo, so our work is devoted to improving it.
Rebar Interactive was founded in 2011 by Rahlyn Gossen, a former clinical research coordinator. As a coordinator, Rahlyn observed severe flaws in the clinical research model and witnessed how common clinical trial practices often alienated patients. During this time, Rahlyn also noticed how technology was reconstructing other industries, concurrently streamlining processes and providing a better experience for all involved.
As a result, Rahlyn developed a core belief about the future of clinical trials. Her belief, in short, was that clinical trials would need to become far more technology-enabled and human-centered. This future model would be markedly more efficient, effective, and exciting for patients and professionals alike. And, ultimately, it would provide the world with greater access to life-altering treatments.
Rebar Interactive was founded to attain this vision.
