Digital Solutions By Digital People
For us, empowering digital experiences are not just solutions that we provide to clients. They are fundamental to how we live and work. For example, we:
- Prefer asynchronous communication methods like email and Twitter
- Embrace the cloud and shun paper (but admittedly have a weakness for fancy notebooks)
- Are always on the hunt for new and better technology solutions
Exceptional Talent, One Virtual Roof
Some members of our team have a background in clinical research. Some do not. And that’s by design. We believe that there is such a thing as too much experience when it comes to clinical innovation. Thinking can become rigid and lack creativity. By drawing on wisdom from several industries, we can come up with creative solutions to tough clinical research challenges.

Led By Founder Rahlyn Gossen
Prior to founding Rebar Interactive, Rahlyn was a clinical research coordinator for 5 years. As a research coordinator, Rahlyn coordinated 26 clinical research trials (Phases II-IV) in a variety of therapeutic indications, with a specialty in Alzheimer’s disease and migraine headaches. Rahlyn’s perspective on clinical research is greatly informed by her time as a clinical research coordinator.
Rahlyn has a longtime passion for technology and digital media. Like most digital marketing professionals, she is primarily self-taught. However, Rahlyn’s sociology degree from Grinnell College has proven useful in navigating the increasingly social nature of digital media.
Rahlyn regularly writes about patient engagement and clinical trial innovation for the Rebar Interactive blog, newsletter, and Twitter, as well as assorted formal publications. She has been quoted in various research industry and business publications, including Nature and the Financial Times. Rahlyn also serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of Applied Clinical Trials.
Rahlyn’s interests extend beyond clinical research and into broader healthcare technology and innovation. These interests, along with her commitment to New Orleans, led her to co-found Health 2.0 New Orleans. Rahlyn was also the 1st place winner of the Shire ADHD Transitions developer challenge.
When Rahlyn is not working, she enjoys running, wandering New Orleans, and watching cute animal videos online.
